About

How It All Started

When I was in school, I was fascinated by the idea of creating something from scratch. Turning an idea into reality felt magical.

My first job was at a company that made a management system for accountants. The platform was built on Joomla and then customized to fit their needs.

After that, I started working with startups. I mostly used Angular and Firebase to build custom web apps. It was fun to work on different projects and see many people using the products I built.

At the same time, I started teaching front-end development at a university in Rome and through online schools. I even created my own Angular workshop for companies. I really enjoyed developing and teaching.

Discovering Webflow

In 2017, a coworker showed me Webflow, but as a developer, I thought it was similar to WordPress, which I didn’t like, so I ignored it. In 2020, for a project, I remembered Webflow and decided to try it. I really liked the development experience and the community, so by 2021, I decided to only work with Webflow.

The WWX stack

In 2022 i discovered Wized and Xano. I also became a Webflow Partner and a Wized Expert, which allowed me to further specialize in this stack and offer even more value to my clients.

With these tools, I could build the same web apps I made before but in a low-code way. This made the process faster and gave Webflow users more control to make changes on their own.

The problem

Before Wized and Xano, many businesses used tools like Airtable, Make, or Zapier. These tools are easy to use for non-technical people, but they can have performance issues when student numbers grow. Webflow CMS and Airtable have limits on how many operations can happen at the same time.

The solution

Xano solves this problem because it acts as a proxy or "man in the middle." All the necessary data from Webflow, Airtable, or other platforms is saved in Xano.

This way, requests are handled by Xano instead of the other platforms. It uses PostgreSQL, which can handle millions of users. Xano also has a visual API builder, so you can send and get data from other platforms.

This means you can design your website in Webflow, use Wized to show the data, and Xano as the backend.

You can even use Xano with Webflow CMS to make SEO-friendly pages that search engines can index.

There are various solutions depending on the project and its specific needs
